L 6000 expands the Digital 6000 and Digital 9000 series with a practical and intelligent charging station. Up to four modules can be fitted as needed with two charging ports each for bodypack or handheld transmitter batteries. Three-color LEDs simplify the quick overview of the charging status. Can also be controlled via WSM software.

L 6000

Practical, central, intelligent: The 19 inch 1 RU L 6000 charging station delivers power centrally and directly in the rack. Up to four freely selectable charging modules can accommodate two bodypack or handheld battery packs each (a total of 8 charging ports for battery packs BA 60, BA 61 or BA 62). Three-color LEDs give a quick overview of the charging status. The intelligent control system prevents heat buildup and also offers a mode that optimally charges the batteries for extended storage periods.
The charging station L 6000 has a modular construction and is futureproof: Charging stations for future battery pack types can simply be retrofitted.

Extensive details regarding temperature, remaining charging time, run times, charging cycles and battery quality can be retrieved via the Wireless Systems Manager (WSM).

Come from Away

The international musical Come from Away, honored with the beknowned Olivier Award, has been packing in record-breaking audiences both on Broadway and in the West End. To ensure discrete, high-quality sound reinforcement on the show, Sound Designer Gareth Owen has specified the new ultra-compact Sennheiser SK 6212 bodypack transmitter for all cast members.

Paul Cutler

At the end of April, British war veteran and beloved walking hero, Captain Sir Thomas Moore, raised more than £32m for NHS charities by walking 100 laps of his garden before his 100th birthday on the 30th of April. An outside broadcast with the BBC breakfast team was realized by sound engineer Paul Cutler with the help of Sennheiser Digital 6000.

The Star Performing Arts Centre

AIDA Cruises

The entertainment programme on board the AIDA cruise ships is increasingly becoming the domain of Sennheiser Digital 6000 systems. In April 2017, the AIDAvita became the first member of the fleet to be equipped with the audio specialist’s digital wireless systems. In the meantime, it has been followed by the AIDAcara and AIDAblu.

Reynolds Auditorium

Reynolds Auditorium has played host to well-regarded touring acts, from the Moscow Ballet to Sweet Honey in the Rock to the National Black Theater Festival. CNN Prima News

Prima, one of two biggest commercial TV broadcasters in the Czech Republic, agreed with CNN to run a Czech version of CNN News. The channel is called CNN Prima News. For this purpose, Prima built the biggest and most modern TV studio of the country. Sennheiser‘s local country partner PANTER equipped the studio with the latest sound technology.
